Act before acid and pigments set

Lift solids with a spoon or card without pressing them into the pile. Blot moisture with clean white towels, working from the outer edge inward. Use cool or lukewarm water only when the rug or carpet care instructions allow it. Hot water and vigorous rubbing can spread color, distort wool and set protein residue.

Respect wool chemistry

Wool is a protein fiber. Strong alkalinity, bleach, excessive heat and some enzyme systems can damage it. Do not assume that an enzyme cleaner is wool-safe because it works on synthetic carpet. Check the product label for wool approval and test for colorfastness. If the carpet is valuable, hand-knotted, heavily saturated or dyed with unstable colors, contact a specialist.

Remove moisture completely

Use controlled amounts rather than soaking the pile and backing. Blot or extract after the allowed dwell time, rinse only as directed and dry with airflow. Put a clean towel below a removable rug to draw moisture from the foundation. A lingering sour smell can mean residue reached the pad or floor.

Make the CTA evidence led

Clean Step's current supplied range does not identify a wool-carpet emergency stain kit. Its deodorizing spray should not be attached to this use without fiber and colorfastness testing. The high-conversion path is a useful guide plus an OEM/ODM invitation for importers seeking a tested delicate-textile stain product.
